Explore how leaders, teams, and organizations have experienced meaningful, lasting change through Marjana’s work.
Leadership as Maturity
“We have been working with Marjana for several years. I appreciate her genuine desire and approach to first getting to know us well, as individuals and as teams operating at different levels of the company.
She guided us along a somewhat different path and challenged us to recognize:
– that a director or leader is not a superman who knows everything and has an answer to every question, but rather allows doubt, acknowledges complexity, and accepts unpredictability;
– that as leaders we should move away from the classic employee-indicator-goal model toward development based on values, long-term impact, sustainability, and alignment with the employee’s personal sense of purpose (their “why”);
– that “my team” is above all the group of us leaders (within the business unit, within the company board) who, through honest and open communication, challenge and develop one another, create space for dialogue, and explore the unknown together.
Marjana impressed me because she persistently and convincingly spreads the idea of a different, more modern approach to leadership and organizational development. I agree with her statements that personal maturity is a currency for survival and that an individual’s maturity has a strong impact on the maturity of the organization.”

Coaching with Courage
“If anyone knows how to confront a person with the truth gently but without sugarcoating, it’s Marjana.
She doesn’t beat around the bush. She asks the right question at the right time.
I would recommend her to leaders or business owners because she is able to get to the heart of the matter very quickly. She doesn’t complicate things, but helps people clearly see what is holding them back and what is moving them forward. She works with both heart and mind—and you can feel that—so being around her gives you a sense of safety, while at the same time you know you won’t be able to hide behind excuses.
As a leader, I realized through coaching that my role is not only to make decisions but above all to create space—for myself and for others. Sometimes that also means stepping back and letting go of things I’ve held onto out of a sense of duty or importance. “Let it go” is not weakness—it’s one of the most demanding stages of maturity, and it’s precisely there that you begin to truly give what the world really needs from you.”
— Martina Perharič, Pharmaceutical Executive, Board Member, Medis d.o.o.
Developmental Coaching Journey
“The development process is something that accompanies you throughout life in one form or another. Unconsciously, we go through different phases, which in other words we call life. I have always been curious and very interested in human psychology, which is why I entered developmental coaching with an open mind, not knowing exactly what to expect.
It was very different from anything I had experienced before, since most other coaching is focused primarily on techniques, approaches, and tools. Developmental coaching, however, works primarily on the personal growth of the individual, which helps both at work and in private life. A person brings their whole self into the workplace—we don’t leave behind the parts that feel emotions, sadness, anger, fear, joy, etc. Admitting to colleagues that you are sad or angry, and not hiding behind the mask of a leader, is quite a demanding task.
Developmental coaching helped me position myself on the developmental scale, and the more I read the theory, the more I understood why Marjana, with the help of the questionnaire, placed me where she did. I saw the path I had already traveled and what still lies ahead.”
— Boštjan Berginc, Director for Innovation Culture and R&D, Hidria d.o.o.
Life Transition & Vertical Growth
“What I thought was a problem turned out to be more of a life transition process. I learned that it’s okay even if I’m not okay. I gained the insight that such a period gives you time to reflect on where you are and what needs to change for you to be okay. It also shows you a new focus—not only in understanding yourself but also in understanding external factors over which you have no control.
The added value of the developmental coaching experience is that I came to know myself more deeply—my strengths and my weaknesses. This serves as a starting point that every leader must acknowledge when embarking on the path of adult personality development. In addition, the concept of vertical development shows you the areas and direction for the road ahead.”
— Mohor Markelj, Operations Director, Atlantic Grupa d.d.
Perspective Shift in Leadership
“Our work together in vertical development coaching had a meaningful impact, particularly in the context of the team I used to manage during my assignment in Slovenia. It shifted my perspective as a leader and helped me better understand the interactions between individuals at different levels of our company. Through the coaching, I developed better awareness of how to foster more open, constructive cooperation and build trust across the team.”
— Przemyslaw Malysz, Managing Director, Mobilize Financial Services Netherlands
